Math Experiences in Everyday Interactions with Infants and Toddlers
This presentation will support early care providers in their understanding of the early math concepts, embedded in the everyday routines of young children. Participants will explore opportunities for strengthening children's math experiences in their educational settings and identify tangible approaches to help foster a deeper understanding of infant/toddler cognitive development for supporting math concepts for infants and toddlers.

Adele Cruz is a PITC Regional Coordinator who provides training and technical assistance to center-based infant toddler child care teachers, family child care providers, and to family friends and neighbors groups. Adele has experience as a classroom teacher and manager for state-funded, federally funded and private-sector child development programs. She has experience as an ECE adjunct faculty at community colleges teaching a course on instructional supports for Dual Language Learners.
